Sammy worked at Lily Tulip in Springfield, MO, before joining the Missouri Department of Transportation in 1972. He worked there until his retirement in 2007. He loved spending time with his grand kids and great grand kids, attending plays, swim meets, gymnastics meets, baseball and basketball games, and driving around the farm with them. He was loved and will be deeply missed by all. He will be greatly missed and has left an impact on all who knew him by his life of integrity and his life-message of the faithfulness of God.
